Barbara Gaffney of Genoa Barbara Gaffney, 48, of Genoa, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. She was born Nov. 16, 1964 in Mendota, IL, the daughter of Daniel and Joanne (nee Rapp) Dean. She is survived by her husband, Denis Gaffney of Genoa; her children, Matthew Galloway, Joseph Galloway, and Kelly (Joseph Perez) Galloway; her grandchildren, Bradley and Jackson Galloway, and she was expecting her third grandchild, Angel Perez; two sisters, Anna Altman and Mary (Phil) Gallo; a brother, Michael (Bernie) Dean; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her aunt; Theresa Cokel. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St. (three blocks west of the Fox River, one block south of Route 64), St. Charles. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
