ROBERT RIES Obituary

Robert J. Ries was born on June 10, 1926, one of three children born to J P and Aura Ries. He passed on May 9, 2014 at Alexian Brothers Hospice, Elk Grove Village. He is survived by his children...Jerry Ries, Jan Kazlausky, and "Spooky" Joann Ries Gapinski, their mother Delores, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and his sister Mary Ann Fiedler with her family. Robert was active with the chamber of commerce, and still had his office of Ames Real Estate open, being an active Broker, and was the Building Commissioner during Hanover Parks, "Boom." Robert was the "Go To" man as Hanover Park developed...Realtor, Fireman, Paramedic, Insurance, Contractor...these were only some of his titles...the list goes on, and so does he... Memorial will be held at 27W251 Ontarioville Rd., Hanover Park (his office) on Tuesday, June 10 from 2-6 PM.
