Bonnie:
What a shock to learn that Chuck passed away 10 YEARS ago! Pat and I are so sorry. I happened to be looking through old photos on my computer and came across those of when you, Chuck and Pat and I traveled to New Orleans together and had a great time. Another joint trip for us all, while we were United employees, took us to Las Vegas where more fun ensued. Those were cherished times, not to be forgotten. Just like Chuck. I regret we all lost touch after I left United. Pat and I remain in the area (Ingleside) and discover you're not far away in Lake Zurich. We'd love to hear from you. Again, our sincere condolences (albeit 10 years too late).

Kim and I stopped by the park today and visited with our good friend Chuck at his memorial bench overlooking Lake Zurich. It's hard to believe that he has been gone for ten years, but his jokes and his laughter are always with us. We miss you, friend!

It has been just over a week now that we received the very sad news of the passing of our dear friend and neighbor, Chuck. What strengthens us is that he is at peace now, and that we have yet another important person in our life, having gone ahead of us, to prepare a place for us all for when the day comes when we will be reunited....to again laugh and share stories. Until that day comes, we are here to offer our support to Bonnie, Sean and Kathy, and the entire family, while they continue to mourn their loss of Chuck.
