Charles D. Barr III A memorial visitation for Charles will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Marcelline Church, 822 S. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. Charles D. Barr III of Schaumburg passed away peacefully at Northwest Community Hospital on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Charles was proud to serve the Schaumburg community as a police officer for over 23 years and served his country as an FBI special agent. He was dedicated, loyal and lived his life to serve and protect. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Krupa), loving father and best friend to Charles IV. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Sr. and Florence (nee Frelka) and brother Thomas E. Barr. Son in law to Anne Marie and the late Wayne Krupa, brother in law to Mark and Lisa Krupa (nee Das) and Dan and Danielle (nee Krupa) Paquette, friends to Jim, Cornelia, Steve, Maru Fiakowski and Brenda Barr, uncle to Melissa Johnson, Chris and Thomas Jr. Barr. Great Uncle to Ariel Barr and Mickayla Johnson. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Charles loved spending time with family, friends and camping/fishing in Eagle River in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the family, who will send the donations to Charlie's favorite charities.
