SCHAUMBURG - George Philip Badame, 72, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. George was born in Chicago on March 13, 1944. Beloved husband of Donna Badame (nee Langmaack). Loving father of Jeffrey (Cynthia) Badame, Jennifer (Drew) Behrens. Cherished grandfather of Jullianna, Autum, Addyson, and Anthony Badame, and Dillon and Arya Behrens. SCHAUMBURG - The funeral service for Carol J. Donovan (nee Thomas), 62, of Schaumburg for 14 years, formerly of Elk Grove Village, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1050 Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village, where she will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. Born in Chicago, she passed away June 26, 2016, at Alexian Brothers Hospice House. Carol was a retired 25 year real estate sales broker in the northwest suburbs. She was the former wife of Barry W. Donovan; mother of Rebecca E. (Phillip) Georges and Julie C. (Daniel) Clark; grandmother of Brandon, Amy and Bryan Clark, and Nicholas, Larissa and Caleb Georges; and sister of the late Chester (Georgiana) Thomas. Crystal C. Downing-Swanton, 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the home of her sister in Chicago. She was born November 9, 1954 in Chicago, was a former resident of Libertyville, living in Round Lake Beach for the past 11 years. Crystal was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville and a former employee of the Lake County Health Department. Surviving are her precious daughter Krista Miller; her mother Malvina Downing; sisters, Sylvia (Charles) Ross and Gina Downing; brothers, Gerald (Patricia) Downing and George Downing. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Swanton in 2010, and also by her father Gerald E. Downing and sister Melinda Downing. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Maple, Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. EISWERTH, PAUL J. - LAKE ZURICH  
LAKE ZURICH - Paul J Eiswerth, resident of Lake Zurich, age 73, died June 23, 2016 at 9:30 pm surrounded by loved ones. Born May 8, 1943 in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Leda (Doubet) Eiswerth. After graduating from Gannon University with a bachelors degree in business, he served in the Army, attaining the rank of corporal during his four years of service. In 1972 he married his wife, Barbara J. Wasielewski (d. 2008) and settled in Swickley, PA. They moved their family of four to Lake Zurich, IL in 1983 and remained there for their thirty-five years of marriage. In 2008, Paul entered retirement from the credit industry. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his eldest brother David U Eiswerth (wife Audrey). He is survived by his two sons, Brian (wife Jamie) of Lakemoor, IL and Patrick (wife Mary Beth) of Chicago, IL and three grandchildren; Gavin (12), Margaret (10) and Bennett (2) Eiswerth. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Eiswerth (wife Betty Ann) of Mentor, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29th, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. The memorial Mass will be on Thursday, June 30th at 10:30AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Interment will be private. George James Kutrumanes, 87, of Chicago, born in Agrianos (Sparta) Greece, passed away June 23, 2016. Beloved husband of Georgia (nee Triantafillopoulos) of 55 years. Loving father of Dean (Vasi), Peter (Nikoletta), and James (Maria). Proud and cherished grandfather "Pappou" of Georgiana, Patricia, Natalie, Georgios, Christopher, and Gianni. Devoted son of the late Demetri and Marigo (nee Kyriakoula). Supportive brother of Nick, Pano, John, Kiki and the late Pota. George had a strong work ethic. He worked at Hot Point automatic electric-GTE/Sylvania, Maryann Baking Company/Alpha Baking and a Restaurant Entrepreneur. He lived a life that was full of pride, joy, and happiness. He took great pride in his family, being an American and a teacher to many. He was a veteran of the Greek Civil War, serving in the Hellenic Army. His generosity, great sense of humor and selflessness are qualities that will be missed. He loved the Chicago Cubs, having coffee with friends and keeping up with current events. He was a TRUE gentleman with kind words and a smile for everyone he met. He is the beloved patriarch and guiding light of his family, he will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren. SCHEITLIN, GLENN F. - ELGIN  
ELGIN - Glenn F. Scheitlin, 89, of Elgin passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Hospital. He was born August 25, 1926 in Elgin the son of Daniel and Clara Wascher Scheitlin. Glenn had been a resident of Elgin for all of his life and was a graduate of Elgin High School. He had been employed by NICOR Gas. Co. for 38 years before retiring. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Navy. Glenn was passionate about his family, golf and was an avid reader of history. He was also a political junkie, and enjoyed caring for his rose bushes and listening to a wide range of music. Surviving are his daughter, Anne (Tim) Johnson of Wayzata, MN and his son David Scheitlin of Elgin, 5 grandchildren, Aimee, David, Joseph (Emily), Leah, and Libby, a great granddaughter, Emma, and his sister, Sandra (Thomas) Menke of St. Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Louise Woleben Scheitlin, 2 brothers, William and Ronald Scheitlin. Private graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
