SNOWWHITE Sr., PAUL E. - Elgin
Jesus getter, uprisings suppressor, war fighter, revolution starter, hero to damsels in distressed, tiger tamer, dragon slayer, bar emptier, party crasher and teller of tall tales would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, which includes a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. The required uniform will be Hawaiian shirts, shorts and flip-flops. His new mission of playing guitar with friends, long walks on the beach with dogs, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left detailed instructions for his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, family and friends to celebrate his mission here, which is now completed. We wanted to let you know he did a great job as father, friend and servant. We will remember his capacity for loving people, generosity and knack for challenging the status quo. He worked hard and fought for life up until the very end. He was blessed with ability to spend time and say goodbye to most of his family and friends over the last few months of his life. Paul made an impact in many lives; we invite you to bring your Hawaiian shirt and celebrate his life with us at West Ridge Community Church, 3200 Encounter Lane, Elgin, IL, August 3rd, 5-6:30 pm visitation with family and friends, 7-7:30 pm service with food served after. Plants and flowers are welcome to be sent to the church, but Paul would have preferred you to donate to your local homeless charity.
