LAWLOR, MARY (MCSHANE)  
Mary Lawlor (nee McShane), of Mount Prospect, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away gently on June 22, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill. She was born February 9, 1927, in Indianapolis to the late Margaret (O'Donnell) and the late Patrick McShane. A beloved mother and grandma, Mary dedicated her life to caring for others, including her large family and the many patients she tended to during her career as a registered nurse. Mary is survived by her children, Brian Lawlor, Patricia (Kenneth) Gryzik, Joseph (Aires) Lawlor, Anne (Fred) Hegland, James (Judy) Lawlor, Kevin Lawlor, and Mary Przanowski; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Thomas, Daniel, Joseph, Jennifer, Sean, Jessica, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Sophie, George; and one great-grandchild, Connor. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her brother, John; and children, Mary Ellen and John. Visitation Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Severino's River Woods Funeral Chapel, 205 S. River Road, Des Plaines, IL. Family and friends will meet directly at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Lawrence "Larry" G. Leibforth was born on October 18, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Lawrence and Betty (nee Mottl) Leibforth. He died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Arlington Heights. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn, nee Durack; his children, Lawrence (Nancy) Leibforth, III, Michael (Amy) Leibforth, Sr., Kathleen (Tim) Balmes, Keith (Colleen) Leibforth, Daniel (Jennifer) Leibforth, Sr., John (Kristine) Leibforth, Sr., Robert (Mary) Leibforth, Lynn (Chris) Tanis; his grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Jennifer, Rachel, Daniel, Jr., Samantha, Megan, Emily, Alexandra, Matthew, Kyle, Jaclyn, Jordan, Kaylee, John Jr., Caitlin, Timothy, Sean, Madeline, Maggie, Kevin, Patrick; and his brother, Earl (Marge) Leibforth. LENZ, MATTHEW L. - HAMPSHIRE  
HAMPSHIRE - Matthew L. Lenz, 31, of Hampshire passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in Genoa. He was born Dec. 17, 1984, in St. Charles, IL, the son of Lawrence and Sue (Engel) Lenz. Matt attended St. Charles Borromeo Grade School, Hampshire Middle School and was a member of the 2003 Class of Hampshire High School. He had also attended Elgin Community College. Matt had been working as a truck driver for Adkins Milk Hauling in Genoa. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Surviving are his parents, Larry and Sue of Hampshire; brother, Andrew (Sara) Lenz of Genoa; and nephew Gabriel Michael Lenz; his fiancee with whom he recently became engaged, Andrea Hein of New Ulm, MN.; grandparents, Lester and Rosalie (Guzy) Lenz, and Larry and Mary (Meyer) Engel, all of Hampshire; uncles, John (Cynthia) Lenz, Robert (Stella) Lenz, Gary (Maureen) Engel; many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday, June 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 297 E. Jefferson Ave, Hampshire. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, June 20 at St. Charles Borromeo Church from 4 to 8 pm. LETHEBY, JAMES EARL - HAMPSHIRE  
HAMPSHIRE - James Earl Letheby, 75, went to the Lord June 19, 2016 after a short bout of cancer. He was born January 14, 1941 to Harold and Lorena (Schiesher) Letheby in Elgin. Jim attended St. Charles Borromeo Grade School and Hampshire High School. He was a member of the Class of 1959. He married Rose Prudlick in S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Independence, Wisconsin on June 2, 1962. Jim enjoyed farming with his grandfather George Schiesher. After high school, he worked at Playskool, Ludwig Dairy, W.J. Dennis Co. and Minerallac. He was on the Planning Board for the Village, and presently he was on the Zoning Board. After retiring, he worked at the Hampshire Township Cemeteries up to the present. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved gardening and fishing. Every summer, he and his family would vacation in Marquette, WI. He was also a train enthusiast and loved participating in train shows. Jim was also very proud of his train displays, and he was very happy to share that joy with those around him. He is survived by his wife, Rose, of 54 years. Jim is also survived by three sons, Douglas, Paul (Mary) and Corey (Chris); and three daughters, Susan (Steve) Dalby, her twin sister Shari (Brian) Letheby and Rebecca (Keith) Penkaty. Jim has one brother Gordon (Mary) Letheby of Monroe, WI. Jim was the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren, Alan Jones (Navy), Cameron Letheby, Colleen Letheby, Joseph McAlpin (Air Force), Emily McAlpin, Danielle Thompson, Nicole Thompson, Michael Letheby (US Army), Megan Letheby, Brittni Manning, Darcy Dalby, Maxwell Dalby, Mitchell Dalby, Hunter Penkaty, and Jordyn Penkaty, uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lorena Letheby; mother and father-in-law, Peter and Maggie Prudlick; brother-in-law, Ronald Prudlick; grandparents, George and Cornelia Schiesher and Amanda and Hugh Walker; and grandfather, Earl Letheby. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Sat. June 25 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 297 E. Jefferson Ave, Hampshire. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Rosary at 3:45 pm. Memorials in his name may be directed to the Hampshire Township Cemeteries (for the maintenance and care of the cemeteries). The Fredrick Funeral Home in Hampshire is assisting the family. Leventhal, JUDITH ELEANOR (MIGUT) - Lake Villa  
Judith Eleanor (Migut) Leventhal, 62, passed away on September 16, 2015 in Long Grove, Illinois due to complications of a lengthy and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Judi lived in several places throughout her life including West Virginia, the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and most recently and longest Vernon Hills and Long Grove. Judi had a wonderful giving spirit and was generous to a fault. Giving in death as she did in life, she donated her body to science hoping this would help in the cure of MS and other illnesses. Judi is sadly and lovingly missed by her paternal aunt, Bernadette (Tom) Siwek; sisters and brothers Patricia (Richard) Slovak, Richard (Julia) Migut, Randall (Cathy) Migut and Nancy (Casey) Tomaszewski. Dearest aunt of Cindy (Scott) McCarty, Timothy Slovak Sr., Edward (Janelle) Migut, Neil (Anna) Migut, Frank, Michael and Lisa Migut, Zachary Migut, and Evelyn Tomaszewski. Great-aunt of Melanie and Joshua Alexander, Timothy Jr. and Eric Slovak, Gianna, Olivia and Madeleine Migut. Dearly loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and a multitude of lifelong friends, including her best friend Eileen Liss. She loved all of you and was always happy to have a visit, call or card from any and all. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Edward and Dorothy Migut and her nephew Ronald Slovak. A celebration of Judi's life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 staring with 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of Vernon Church, 236 US Hwy 45, Indian Creek, Illinois 60061, with a lunch immediately following in the Narthex of the church. The family extends sincere gratitude to the staff and nurses of Avantara of Long Grove, Arlington Rehab and Living, for their special attention to Judi needs and also to Transitions Hospice Team of Huntley for their compassionate care during Judi's final days and their follow up condolences. Kathleen D. Lynders (nee Engler), age 97, formerly of Clarendon Hills, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Alden Valley Ridge in Bloomingdale. She was born March 26, 1919 in Nebraska. Kathleen is survived by her children Mark (Cynthia) Lynders and Patricia Lynders; son-in-law Louis (Joan) Burke, grandchildren, Paul Lynders, Jennifer (Robert) Wehrs, Jon (Alberta) Burke, Scott (late Charlene) Burke, Gina (late Rusty) Tucker, Mary (Mark) Forster, Luci (Nicholas) Ridolfo, Robert (Erin) Burke and Christopher (Jacqueline) Burke, nine great-grandchildren and a sister Mary Ellen Steinman. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Martin Lynders, daughter Karin Lynders Burke, a grandson Brian Burke a great-grandson Christian Tucker and two sisters Geraldine Engler Hollstein and Sr. Nicole Engler.
