HAWSE, ROBERT L. - St Charles  
BATAVIA - Robert L. Hawse, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Michealsen Health Center in Batavia. He was born December 5, 1919, in Peoria, the son of Ray and Cecil (nee Minteer) Hawse. He was united in marriage to Hazel B. Patzer on December 14, 1940 in the Congregational Church of Batavia. Bob proudly served in the United States Navy in Okinawa, Japan near the end of WWII. His desire to serve continued with the Batavia Lions Club, Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, Home Assistance Volunteer Effort, Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity and his church. Bob had a love and passion for woodcarving and created the Batavia Woodcarvers which started in his garage in 1985. He is survived by his children, Susan (Bill) Majewski of Duluth, MN; Nancy (Douglas) Huntington of Montgomery, IL, Robert (Diedre) Hawse Jr. of Green Lake, WI, and Peggy Hawse of Batavia; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hazel; and his brothers, Oren and John Hawse. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Rt. 31) in Batavia. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia Ave. in Batavia, where he will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the chapel of River Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Batavia Lions Club or Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. MOUNT PROSPECT - Donald E. Hecht, a resident of Mount Prospect since 1955. Beloved husband of the late Wilma R. Hecht nee Gresens. Loving father of Dennis (Cathy) Hecht, Wendy (Karl) Smedberg, Warren (Christine) Hecht and Randall Hecht. Loving grandfather of Billy, Colin and Kylie; Leslie (Kevin) Hoppel, Kari and Maggie; Aiden. Dear great grandfather of Connor. Born in Chicago on October 12, 1926, at rest November 24, 2014. Army vet during the Korean War. Retired Technician for Wells Gardner Electronics in Chicago. HOPP, ADELIA L. "DEAL" - Fox Lake  
FOX LAKE - Adelia "Deal" L. Hopp, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2014. She was born on March 18, 1942 in Chicago to Gordon and Ada (nee Larson) Buchanan. Deal enjoyed doing crafts, especially sewing and crocheting and she also loved to play Bingo. Deal will be deeply missed by her loving brothers, Richard (Bernice), Robert and David (Linda Christian) Buchanan and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hopp and by her parents. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 29 from 8:30 until time of prayers at 10:30 AM at K.K. KEENEYVILLE - Richard Markward, 86, of Keeneyville, IL, passed away on Nov. 24, 2014. He was born on Dec. 19, 1927 in Oak Park, IL. Richard was a Veteran and served in the US Army during WWII. Survivors include his 3 daughters: Julie Markward, Kathryn Levin, and Antoinette (Todd) Heard; along with 4 grandchildren: Maya, Russell, Benjamin and Emilia. MCCAFFERTY, LUCILLE - Rolling Meadows  
Lucille McCafferty was born Feb. 12, 1933, and died Nov. 25, 2014. She was the loving wife to the late George McCafferty; very loving mother to Janet and Mike McCafferty and the late Kathy (Ray) Baggett; special grandmother to Megan and Joseph McCafferty, and Colleen and Nathan (Rebecca) Baggett; good aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lucille was always in her kids lives: Girl Scout leader, PTA and she never missed a Little League game, plays, dance recitals or swim meets. She loved to laugh and always could get one to smile. Lucille and her husband loved the theater and she went with friends after he passed. She was strong, independent woman with a lovely spirit. She always told her family she loved them and was proud of them. She is and will always be missed. NUTILE, MARIE CATHERINE - Naperville  
NAPERVILLE - Marie Catherine Nutile, nee Romano, age 88, a resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in Naperville surrounded in love by her devoted family. She was born October 26, 1926 in Chicago, IL. Marie is survived by her loving children, Catherine (James) Bromiel, Theresa (PJ) Belgio and Michael (Heather) Nutile; her precious grandchildren, Kristina, Edward, Lisa, Brianna, Stephanie, Douglas, Steven and Arianna; her beloved sisters, Anna (the late Donald) Cornelius and Jeannette (George) Karas; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Emerico Nutile and their son, Ricky Nutile; and her brothers, Tony (Vicky) Romano and John (the late LaVerne) Romano. Marie raised her beautiful family in Melrose Park, IL. She always spoke of her cherished memories of dancing with her husband in various ballrooms around the Chicago-land area; a part of her life she shared with her kids and grandkids whenever they watched Dancing with the Stars as a family. She was eternally proud of her grandchildren and always kept a careful record of all their accolades and accomplishments. She valued time spent with her sister and friends at their frequent gatherings playing canasta. She also enjoyed her time spent at Ecumenical Adult Care Center of Naperville. Completely devoted to family, there was no a single event in her family's life that Marie wasn't involved in. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live forever. O'MALLEY, MICHAEL OWEN - Rolling Meadows  
Michael Owen O'Malley ROLLING MEADOWS - Michael Owen O'Malley, 87, passed away November 25, 2014 with his family at his side. Michael, better known as "Bud," was born on November 25, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois to Owen and Bridget (nee Hopkins) O'Malley. He grew up in "Ad - Nar" (Addison and Narragansett) on Natchez Avenue and attended St. Priscilla Grammar School and Steinmetz High School. Bud attended Loyola University studying Banking and Finance. He was united in marriage to the late Jeanne Marie Hood of Pocahontas, Iowa on November 20, 1954. Bud enjoyed life to the fullest, spending most of his time with family and traveling as far as he could go in a minutes notice. His biggest claim to fame was being a member of the "Jolly Boys" beginning in his early 20's all the way until the time of his death. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the 86th Infantry Division of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife who was the "Love of his Life," Jeanne Marie (nee Hood) on March 8, 2013. He was the devoted father of Mary (Alfred) Reporto, John O'Malley and Maureen (Thomas) Piotrowski. He is also survived by grandchildren Michael (Colleen), Anthony and Lisa Reporto, and Steven and Jack Piotrowski; great granddaughter, Leanna Marie Reporto (known fondly to her as "Big Papa"). He was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Bridget (nee Hopkins) O'Malley, sister's Catherine Heffernan and Margaret Wedell and eldest son, Michael (Angela) O'Malley of Coppell, Texas; He is survived by dear in-laws Robert (the late Margaret) Wedell, William (the late JoAnn) Coutre, Dennis (Christine) Hood, Sandra Hood, Edwin (Mary) Hood and Sharon Hood. He was the fond uncle to many. Bud will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be 9 to 11 am Saturday, November 29, at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008, followed by Mass at 11:30 am, at St. Collette Catholic Church, 3900 Meadow Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. FOX LAKE - Kelly Marie Schoenberger, of Chicago, formerly of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2014. She was born on June 13, 2000 in Elgin to Andrew and Colleen (nee McEnroe) Schoenberger. Kelly was the bravest person you could know; she had the power to bring out the best in everyone. Kelly had an infectious laugh that could fill a room with joy. She was also a resident at Misericordia for the past seven years. Kelly will be deeply missed by her devoted parents, Andrew (Susan) Schoenberger and Colleen (Robert Staley) Schoenberger; her sisters, Sara and Victoria Schoenberger and her step-brothers, Kyle Francq and Matthew Staley; her grandparents, Terrence (Geraldine) McEnroe, Hazel Schoenberger; her aunts and uncles, Diane (Alvin) Vizconde, Terrence and Kathleen McEnroe and James (Sherry) Schoenberger; by her cousins, Nick, Allison, Benjamin, Zoe, Sean and Mia. Many loving family, friends and caregivers also survive. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Schoenberger, her paternal grandfather, Robert Schoenberger, her aunt Katie Schoenberger and her uncle, Robert Schoenberger. SYCAMORE - David C. Bond, 82, died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield surrounded by his family and friends. He was born May 8, 1932 in Chicago. The son of Robert B. and Beulah (Reed) Bond. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1951-1953. He lived in West Chicago for many years where he was employed at AT&T and as a mail carrier for the U.S. postal service. David was a caring, precious and generous man who left a legacy of peace and joy, with his unconditional love for all. He will forever by remembered by his wonderful laugh and unique personality. Survivors include his 2 nieces, Patricia Brown and Terry Bond, both of Chandler, AZ.; one nephew, John Bond of Arlington, TX; his many loving friends, JoAnn Page (Tyler Weinmann), Austin Page and Herbert Sinnott, all of Sycamore, Janette, Jose and Alexis Romero, of North Aurora; Kenny Weinstock, of Dixon; Judi and Jacquie Sinnott, Samantha Weyer and Shana Estrada, all of Scottsdale, AZ; and Michael Sinnott, Chris Hudkins (Adrean Cattley) and Kim Johnson, all of DeKalb. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William; and dear friend, Brenda J. Sinnott.
