HOPTON, ROBERT A. - GRAYSLAKE  
GRAYSLAKE - Robert A. Hopton, 90, a longtime Grayslake resident passed at his Florida home February 4th, 2016. Beloved father of Bob (Birgit) Hopton, Mike Hopton, Dave (Nancy) Hopton, Kathy (Joav) Kohn, and Scott Hopton. Grandfather of Melissa, Robert, Jess, Tony, Shannon, Lauren, Nicole, Ava, and Leo. Great-grandfather of Riley, Reid, Dayton, Jacob, Logan, Sofia, and Tristan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Faye Jones Hopton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, and also served his family and community in many ways. Funeral services for both Robert and Faye Hopton will take place at the Avon Cemetery, Monday, May 30th at 1:30pm. Following, a celebration of their lives will occur at the Vine in Grayslake from 2:30 until 6:30pm. All are welcome.

Thomas L. Horak, 23, May 21 in Traverse City, MI. Beloved son of Teresa Fisher Horak; fond brother of Andrea (Pat) Griffin, St. Mary's, GA, and Carolyn Horak, Chicago; beloved uncle of Tyler Griffin. Preceded in death by his father, Louis F. Horak. Survivors include his grandmother, Cynthia O'Boyle of Traverse City and many Horak and Fisher aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of Downers Grove North High School, Tom was loved by all who knew him for his sweet nature, dry wit, eclectic taste in music and pure enjoyment of both video and board games. HOFFMAN ESTATES - David W. Horstmann, age 58. Beloved husband of Heidi Horstmann, nee Ebneter, for over 29 years. Devoted father of Eric Horstmann and Anastasia Horstmann. Caring brother of Daniel (Julie) Horstmann and Jonathan Horstmann. Born in Chicago, September 25, 1957 to the late William and Loretta Horstmann, Dave passed away May 19, 2016 in Hoffman Estates, IL. HUCKER, RUSSELL EDWARD - MC HENRY  
MC HENRY - Russell Edward Hucker, 64 , of McHenry, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his home surrounded by family. He was born February 5, 1952, in Waukegan to the late George and Sophie (nee Weber) Hucker, Sr., and married Cindy Melton on August 28, 1971, at St. Bede Catholic Church. Russ grew up in Ingleside, attended St. Bede School through eighth grade, and graduated Grant Community High School in 1970. He went on to become a Local 150 Operating Engineer and retired from Berger Excavating with over 25 years. Russ enjoyed camping, motorcycling, drag racing with his son, spending time in Orange Beach, AL and Naples, FL, and was the number-one cheerleader at his grandsons' baseball games. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; children, Christy Lynn (Robert) Patzin; Trisha Marie Cardona, and RJ (girlfriend Keeley Peterson); grandchildren, Owen and Jack Patzin, and Karsen Cardona; sisters, Dolores Meyer and Rosalie (Gary) Gross; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by grandson, Presley Cardona; and brother, George Hucker, Jr. The visitation will be from 3-9 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. A Mass to celebrate Russ' life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Inurnment will be private. HUEBNER, ELIZABETH - ARLINGTON HEIGHTS  
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Elizabeth Huebner, age 87, a resident of Arlington Heights for almost fifty years, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, May 23, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born on January 2, 1929 to Carl and Elizabeth Plath in Des Plaines, Illinois. Having survived the Great Depression, World War II and the loss of both her parents as a small child, Betty lived a full life, raised two professional children, and spent more than a quarter century working for her beloved Daily Herald, before retiring in 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Huebner, and her brothers, Carl and Willard Plath. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Huebner, and her grandson, Edward, and by her son, Terry Huebner (Noelle Weber), and her grandchildren Michael, Ben, and Gretchen, as well as two sisters. We are comforted by the fact that her suffering was short and grateful for the many good times and the long life she generously shared with us all. A brief visitation will be held on Friday, May 27 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:45 p.m. at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. HUFFMAN, BEVERLY J. - Belvidere  
Beverly J. Huffman, 88, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in her home. Born October 6, 1927, in Rock Island, IL, daughter of Harry and Augusta (Schultz) Behn. She married the love of her life, William Huffman, Jr., on October 18, 1945 at First Presbyterian Church in Rock Island, IL, where she was also baptized. She was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Deerfield, IL, and also Crystal Lake Methodist Church. Beverly was a homemaker and a Guardian Ad Litem. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, being a Girl Scout leader, a member of the PTA and a decorator. Beverly was an avid card player. Her grandchildren will remember her as a faith filled person, and her whole family will remember her famous chocolate chip cookies. Beverly had a PHT, "Putting Hubby through College." She fought for what was right her whole life. Beverly is loved and missed by her daughter, Nancy Alexander and her husband, Rick of Lake in the Hills, IL; grandchildren, William Alexander of Naperville, IL and Mike Huffman of Chesterfield, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, William and her son, William Marc Huffman. Private services will be held. Cremation rites have taken place. Joseph "Joe" Imburgia, 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Freeport, IL. He was born on November 14, 1949 to Salvatore and Clara (Amadei) Imburgia, in Chicago, IL. Survivors include his brother: Bob Imburgia; sister: Debbie Mullins; two sons: Joe and James Imburgia; two daughters: Jackie Mattoon and Samantha Pickett; ten grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. HOFFMAN ESTATES - Jordan J. Jasnoch, 92, formerly of Arlington Heights, died peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2016, five days after the death of his beloved wife of 69 years, Katherine (nee Schaffer) Jasnoch. Loving father of James (Renee), John, Jean (Mark) Svetic, Janet (James) Bluhm, Paul Jasnoch; beloved grandfather of Jason, Nicole, Chris, Ken, Kyle, Katie, Jeff and Kristin; great-grandfather of four; brother of the late Dorothy (the late Robert) Huse and the late Raymond Jasnoch; dearly loved uncle of many. Jordan was born on April 30, 1924, in Chicago, to Frances and Thomas Jasnoch. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran who served on Iwo Jima during World War II. He was a founding member and past president of the Chicago chapter of the Fourth Marine Division Association. He was a telephone installer for Illinois Bell for 37 years. Jordan will be remembered for his story telling, great sense of humor and love of his family. He will be dearly missed, especially by the grandchildren he cherished. Loving mother of David of Cape Coral, Florida, Deborah (Randy) Knepper of Wheaton, C.
