IVERSEN, MARIE L. - Greenwood  
WOODSTOCK - Marie L. Iversen, 83, of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Woodstock, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born on April 28, 1931 in Oak Park, to Fred and Catherine (Krapf) Lammel. She married Robert R. Iversen on June 28, 1952 in Chicago. Marie and Bob lived on Euclid Avenue for 20 years. She is survived by three sons, Robert M. (Mary) Iversen, Michael R. (Laura) Iversen, and Peter (Yumi) Iversen; five daughters, Judy (Edward) Liljegren, Kristin Iversen, Betsy Iversen, Mary (Richard) Hritz, and Jean Iversen; nine grandchildren, Rob (Lauren), Eric, Erin (Rusty), Ingrid, Roy, Tracy, Corre (Christina), Katie, and Henry; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Samantha, Sophia, Liam, and Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert R. Iversen on September 26, 2008. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 4-8pm at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 Seminary Ave., Woodstock. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 10am until the time of the funeral mass at 11am. The funeral is at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave. in Woodstock. Burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Clothing Closet of McHenry County, 221 E. JANKOVIC, MARIA - ELGIN  
Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She immigrated to the United States with her husband in September of 1950. She worked in the manufacturing industry for Chicago Rawhide Company, retiring in the 1970s with more than 20 years of service. Her passion was cooking for family and friends. Maria will always be remembered by her children as a most loving mom. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her which will never be filled. Maria is survived by her daughter Marianna (James) Mihelich, her son, Peter (Julie) Jankovic, grandchildren, Brian (Bekki) Mihelich, Bob (Erin) Mihelich and great-grandchildren, Mason, Porter, Reed, Cora and Kate. Maria was preceded in death by her husband Dragutin and 3 brothers and 6 sisters. JOHNSON, LAURA ANN - ARLINGTON HEIGHTS  
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Laura Ann Johnson, 51, passed away on Jan. 18, 2015. She was a 1981 graduate of Rolling Meadows High School and was employed in the freight forwarding industry for many years. Laura was the beloved longtime partner of Dan Craig. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Gordon and Estelle (nee Bergschneider) Johnson; and sister, Jill Yagac. Laura leaves behind her siblings, Mark and Gordon D. Johnson, Kristy Phifer and Amy Nicioli; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial will be Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. at Rainbow Hospice Ark, 1601 N. Western Ave., Park Ridge. Please join us to celebrate her life.

GRAYSLAKE - Mary Kay, 101, passed away January 28, 2015. Mary was born in Poland, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Illinois in 1977. She continued working after coming to Illinois and retired at age 98. Mary was a co-founder of the original Vernon Hills Seniors Organization and served as President for over 10 years. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Clemens in 1975. She is survived by her daughter Linda; her nephews, their wives and families Wes (Jan) Gaile, Susan Clarke (the late Gary Gaile), Jim (Jane) Grendell, Tim (Diane) Grendell as well as many grand nieces and nephews Jeff Gaile; Mary, Patricia and Michael Grendell; Kate (Dennis) Beyer, Jamie Grendell, Patrick and Violet Beyer and many friends. Visitation will be Friday Jan. 30th from 4 - 8 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Funeral Mass will be Saturday Jan. 31st at 1 pm at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, Indian Creek, IL. Private interment will be at a later date. KEARNEY Jr., JOSEPH F. - ELGIN  
Joseph F. Kearney, Jr. (Joe), 93, born July 13, 1921, in Scranton, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Kearney, passed away on Jan. 18, 2015 in Elgin, IL. Joe was a WWII Veteran and served in the US Air Force as a Gunner. He was retired civil service from Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. For 61 yrs. he served in every capacity with the Knights of Columbus, retiring after 29 yrs as Financial Secretary in 2008. He was very devoted to his family and to his church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 yrs., Mildred in 2014. Survivors include his children: Joseph, Thomas Kearney of Texas, Kathleen (Dan) Noerenberg of Elgin, IL, and Patricia of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brian, Tracy, Jennifer, Scott, Laura, Erin, Sean and many great-grandchildren. MOUNT PROSPECT - Patrick J. Kenny was born on March 8, 1925 in Chicago to James and Nora (nee Cleary) Kenny. He passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Mount Prospect. Patrick is survived by his wife of 65 years, Delores (nee Urlaub); his children, Patrick J. Kenny, Karen B. Kenny, and Ronald G. (Nancy) Kenny; his grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, and Joseph Kenny; his sisters, Eileen Weiss and Joan Castle; and his brother, Frank (Rosalie) Kenny. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Kenny. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm Monday, January 26, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights and Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. Cecilia Church, 700 S. KILGORE, JOYCE V. - PALATINE  
Joyce V. Kilgore (Brenner) passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 71 on December 27, 2014. She was born in Chicago on February 16, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents Rose and William Brenner, her brother Donald Brenner, her nephew Michael Brenner, and her beloved husband Glen Kilgore. She is survived by her loving niece, Traci Hemphill and nephew, Tim Brenner, her other nieces and nephews, her cousin DeLores Younge and family, her stepchildren and grandchildren, and her many loved friends. Always a hard worker, Joyce enjoyed her later years traveling with her husband, visiting her nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. She was an avid card player and loved spending time with friends. She enjoyed her years volunteering at PADS helping those in need.
