Anthony F. "Tony" Capaci of Elgin Anthony F. "Tony" Capaci, 39, passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident in Hurley, Wis. on Friday. Tony was born in Elgin on July 14, 1972. He was a lifelong resident of the Streamwood-Elgin areas and a 1991 graduate of Streamwood High School. Following high school, Tony enlisted in the Army and was a proud member of the 12th Special Forces 101st Airborne Unit. Tony was quite the entrepreneur. He was proprietor of the West Pier Laundry and a co-owner of C & Sons, LLC. He was an avid outdoorsman. On Oct. 19, 1996, he married Stacie L. Wuestenfeld. Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of 15 years, Stacie L. and their three sons, Vincent, Julian and Ethan, all at home; his parents, Frank J. and Shirley M. (nee Johnson) Capaci Sr. of Barrington Hills; and his brothers, Frank Jr. (Lisa) of Lake in The Hills and Brian (Danielle) of Huntley. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Gloria (Arnold) Thelen of Elgin; his father-in-law, Thomas (Kathy) Wuestenfeld of Streamwood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless good and faithful friends. Tony was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and a brother, Steven on March 26, 1986. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 10 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family strongly requests the omission of flowers. A memorial has been established in his name in care of his family.
