Casper J. Alagna Services for Casper J. Alagna, 81, of Lakeside, Calif., will begin at 9:15 a.m. today, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive (Route 59), Naperville and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville. Born Aug. 11, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at his home. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Mr. Alagna was a World War II Army veteran. He was a former owner of his own newspaper agency and later worked in the airline industry for many years prior to retiring to California. He is survived by his sons, Daniel of Lakeside, Joseph (Christine) of Chino Hills, Calif., John (Carla) of Hilton Head, S.C., and James (Suzanne) of Naperville; daughter, Christina Alagna of Lakeside; grandchildren, John and Anthony Alagna, both of Chino Hills, Cara and Joseph Alagna, both of Hilton Head, and Carly Alagna of Naperville; brothers Daniel (Marie) of Oak Lawn and Anthony of Burbank; and sister Eva Sergio of Norwalk, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (nee Martinico); parents, Anthony and Diana (nee Clemente) Alagna; brothers Joseph and James Alagna; sister Dee Sokolowski; sisters-in-law Rose, Dorothy, Angela and Ann Alagna; and brother-in-law, James Sokolowski.
