Darlene A. Hall of Batavia, formerly of Saint Charles Darlene A. Hall, 71, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Essentia Health Center in Brainerd, MN, where she was residing with her son. She was born June 27, 1941, in Morris, MN, the daughter of Merle and Helen (nee Fogle) Jacobson. Darlene worked for many years for Illinois Bell at their facility in West Chicago. She loved to play bingo and was a lifetime member of The Women of the Moose. Darlene was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children, Valerie Schramm of Ashley, Randy Hall of Vernon and Jeffrey (Yolanda) Hall of Fort Ripley, MN; grandchildren, Brandon Schramm, Heather Barkau, Erik Rivera, Mike Rivera and Kimberly Hall; great-grandchildren, Elexia, Keagen and Natalie Schramm, Landon Barkau, Elena Potts and Andrew Rivera; sister, Beverly (Bernie) Naughton of Geneva; and brother, Jerry (Linda) Jacobson of Nebraska and Bob Jacobson of Batavia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Arkie, who passed away in 1986; her parents; daughter, Kimberly; brother, Alan Jacobson; and daughter in-law, Vicki Voight-Hall. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St. (Route 38), Geneva, with Pastor Neal Miller officiating.
