GAIL ANN ROHLK

Gail Ann Rohlk Gail Ann Rohlk (nee Hoffmann) went to be with our heavenly Lord as she peacefully passed away on Dec. 20, 2012. Gail was born on Dec. 4, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Middletown, Ohio. In 1970, she was united in marriage to Gary D. Rohlk and resided in Rolling Meadows. She is survived by her husband of 42 loving years; daughters, Amy (Andre) Biller of Chicago and Alisa (David) Tilson of Chicago; two grandchildren, Samantha and Owen Tilson; her mother, Ruthann Hoffmann of Sun City West, Ariz.; and brothers, Frank IV of Dallas, Texas, Douglas of Chicago, Bruce of Brandon, Fla. and John of Vancouver, Wash. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hoffmann III, in October 2011. Gail was last employed by Motorola, Inc. until Parkinson's Disease forced her retirement in 2009. Gail spent the last three years (winter months) in their Sun City West, Ariz. residence. She was residing in Leisure Time Group home at the time of her passing. She will be deeply missed by her family and a host of friends. Memorial services are planned at the Southminster Presbyterian Church, 916 E. Central Road, Arlington Heights, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. A final memorial service will be held at the Desert Palms Presbyterian Church, 13459 W. Stardust Blvd., Sun City West, Ariz. on Feb. 2, 2013. The family wishes to express their appreciation to all her doctors and caregivers that gave Gail the opportunity to fulfill her quest for life which gave her more time with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's name can be made to the Southminster Presbyterian Church, 916 E. Central Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, (Bell Choir) of which Gail was a longtime participant, and/or the American Parkinson Disease Association of Illinois.
