GARY STRAHAN

Gary Strahan Gary Strahan, 64, passed away on Nov. 13, 2012, in Naples, FL, after a long battle with cancer. He was a talented and kind man whose voice and personality lit up St. William's Choir, Naples Players Theater and the Philharmonic Chorale for over 20 years. Gary grew up in Antioch, IL and was active in the PM&L Theater. He enlisted in the Navy in 1967 and served in Okinawa as a medical corpsman attached to a Marine unit. With his ex-wife, Anne and their children, he moved to Naples in 1987. Until recently, he was a senior CAD tech at Grady Minor & Associates. Gary enjoyed yearly reunions with his Antioch High Class of '67. He is survived by loving parents, Bill and Grace; siblings, Kathy, Joel, Janet, Priscilla, Paul, Will and Jonathan; children, Lucas and Sarah; partner, JB; plus many nieces, nephews and their children. Gary will be laid to rest on Saturday, Dec. 1, in Hickory Union Cemetery, east of Antioch, IL at 12:30 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. at the Best Western, 350 W.
