James (Jim) Flood, age 75, died in Arkansas, on October 22, 2013. A native of Borris, Co. Carlow, Ireland, past veteran of the U.S. Army
, and lifetime member of the Limerick Hurling Club. Devoted father of Brian, Yvonne (Gary) Thommes, Courtney (William Braunshausen) Finn, and Sheila (Jeff) Gorman. Jim is survived by his significant other Brenda Johnsen, and his siblings, Sylvester (Rita), Mary (Brian) Parsons, Thomas (Mary), Michael (Laura), Christopher, Elizabeth (Patrick) Sheehan, and Jack (Trish); beloved grandfather to eight; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents, Christopher and Ann (Kavanagh) Flood of Co. Carlow, Ireland, brother Brian Flood, sister Ann Flood, nephew Michael, and beloved granddaughter Molly Gorman. Memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, St. Charles, on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 1:00 pm. Burial private.
