PALATINE - James Leo Arden, 85. Beloved husband of Lois, nee Koenen for 62 years; loving father of Jerry Arden, James, II (Cathy), Ike (Maria) and Dave (Diana) Arden; proud grandfather of Shawna, Claire, Taylor, Kelsey, Mackenzie, Jason (Nicole), Jake, Heather, Ben, David and Jamie; dear brother of Harriet Frischman and Rene Ranallo. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian and brother, John. A Navy Veteran, Jim was a member of the Palatine American Legion for 50 years. He retired from International Harvester at the age of 49 and then worked for District 211 for 15 years as mechanic. He was an avid golfer and bowler with all his sons. He will be dearly missed.
