Jane F. Gardner of Geneva Jane F. Gardner, 81, also of Brownsville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Alta Vista Rehab & Health Care in Brownsville, Texas. She was born March 27, 1931, in Geneva, IL, the daughter of George and Grace (nee Robinson) Gregory. Jane grew up in West Chicago and graduated from West Chicago High School in 1949. She was a farm girl who loved to garden. She worked at the State Bank of West Chicago and Home Hardware in St. Charles. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will dearly missed. She is survived by her three sons, Mike of Aurora, Barry of St. Charles and Gregg of Kaneville; and two granddaughters, Grace (Burley) White and Jessica Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Curt in 1980; and husband, Arnold "Arnie" Gardner in 1994. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a service to follow at 7 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St. (Route 38), Geneva. Interment will be held privately at Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago. Memorials to the Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S. LaFox St., South Elgin, IL 60177, would be appreciated.
