Jerry Walter Grenlin a longtime resident of Spring Grove Jerry Walter Grenlin, formerly of Streamwood, IL, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, of cancer at Sherman Hospital, Elgin, IL. Born Oct. 31, 1957, Jerry was 55 years old. He was a graduate of Elgin High School Class of 1976. Jerry worked as a career computer analyst and enjoyed carpentry, home remodeling, woodworking and was always in his garage fixing or repairing SOMETHING!! He was a loyal friend, devoted to his family, always there to lend a helping hand. Jerry will be greatly missed by the many who loved him. He is survived by his two children, Sgt. Eric W. Grenlin (Sgt. Lindy Ann) and Laura J. Grenlin; Pamela Grenlin, his wife of 21 years; sisters, Jan Flentge (Gordon), June Poe (John), Julie Piecko (Michael); and brother, James (Dana). He was "Uncle Jerry" to Jamie, Andrew, Jessica, Jaclyn, Joshua, Michael, Kyle, Jaclynn and James; and great- uncle to Brody, Duncan and Ashton. He was preceded in death by Jerry A.
