Keith Denman Afable A memorial service for Keith Denman Afable, 22, of Berwyn, Pa., will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, at Naperville Congregational Church, 1 Bunting Lane, Naperville. Born Jan. 21, 1980, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Bellefontaine Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Mr. Afable was a 1998 graduate of Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, an all-state high school soccer player and a high school division all-star baseball player. This past spring he had received his bachelor's degree from Miami University (Ohio) in Oxford, Ohio, where he had been the recipient of the four-year IBM Business Scholarship and the four-year Sidney Souers Minority Student Scholarship. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi International fraternity. Keith is survived by his parents, Dr. Richard and Sally (nee Nichols) Afable of Berwyn, Pa.; brothers, Scott and Michael, and sister Julia, all of Berwyn; maternal grandmother, Dolle Nichols of Naperville; paternal grandmother, Helen Afable of Chicago; three aunts; two uncles; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James L. Nichols, and paternal grandfather, Francisco Afable.
