Kenneth F. McKee, M.D. of East Dundee Kenneth F. McKee, M.D., 60, passed away suddenly on Monday evening, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Ken was born in Richmond, Ind. on July 2, 1952. He was the son of the late Elmer F. and Edna E. (nee Andersen) McKee. Ken earned both his undergraduate and medical degree from Indiana University. His specialty was emergency medicine. Most of his professional career was spent at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, until his retirement. Ken was board certified in emergency medicine and was a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Marie L.; and their children, Daniel and Emily. Other survivors include his sister, Janet (Lee) Morford and his twin brothers, Kyle (Amy) McKee and Rev. Dr. Lyle (Marie) McKee. Ken is also survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very fond of. Memorial funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 E. Main St., East Dundee. The Rev. William P. Yonker, senior pastor will officiate. The McKee family will be receiving friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
