Lawrence W. "Larry" Buske of Rolling Meadows Lawrence W. "Larry" Buske, 68, died Dec. 16, 2012. He was born Sept. 4, 1944, in Chicago. Larry was the owner of Buske & Sons Landscaping, based out of his home in Rolling Meadows. He was involved with Webelos, St. John Senior High and was a Rolling Meadows Auxiliary police officer. He was a Third Ward alderman for the past 10 years, and a board member of the Rolling Meadows Police and Fire Commission, Economic Development Committee and Vehicle Replacement Committee. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of 47 years, whose vows were just renewed this past September. He was the father of John (Kara) Buske, Dawn (David) McNaney and the late Brian Buske; grandfather of Gianna and Venessa Buske, and Faith and Meadow McNaney; brother of Robert Buske; son of the late August and Frances Buske; and son-in-law of the late John and Mary Kokulak. Visitation will be Thursday, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows. He will lie in state Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen, Arlington Heights.
