Lucille S. Hurrell a 47-year resident of Wheaton Lucille S. Hurrell born in Ironwood, Michigan December 3rd, 1924, passed away the morning of July 8th, 2013 at Central DuPage Hospital. Lucille was married to Earnest James Hurrell on September 4th, 1948, until his death this past November. She raised 5 adoring children. Lucille was passionate about education; she received a B.A. from Michigan State University
and a Masters of Education from Northern Illinois University. She taught art in District 200 until her retirement in 1994. Always expanding her interests and encouraging those around her to do the same, she was a "teacher" in every respect. Lucille was filled with wisdom and was a wise and loving mother to all. She is survived by her children; Albert (Ruth) Hurrell, LaMese (Gordon) Hurrell-Coupe, John (Juli) Hurrell, Bill Hurrell and daughter-in-law Dianne Hurrell. Grandchildren; Gabriel, Elijah, Elizabeth, Simon, Tommy, Mary and Sarah. Sister LaMese Davies and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Jim and son Tom. Family and friends to gather Friday, July 12th for 11:30am Memorial Service at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton. Donations to Trinity Episcopal Church, Wheaton, appreciated.
