Marion Watson Family and friends mourn the loss of Marion Watson (nee Dean), 83, who passed away at her home from progressed lung cancer on Dec. 21, 2012. Marion was a strong, kind and practical woman, a devoted wife, mother and neighbor, a lover of animals, an avid reader, a valued employee of the Suburban Bank for 20 years, and a friendly fixture of Rolling Meadows for 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. Marion was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family: children, Douglas (Karen) of Rolling Meadows, Daniel (the late Pamela) of Elgin, Dean (Faith) of Algonquin and Diane (Tim) MacDonald of West Chicago; grandchildren, Diana Dittmer, Jeff (Fanta) and Jennifer Sherwood, Scott (Lisa) Watson, Kevin, Samantha and Kimberly Watson, and Josh (Summer), Caitlin and Brenna MacDonald; and great-grandchildren, Alec, Pamela and Lucy Sherwood and Aylin MacDonald. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at Community Church of Rolling Meadows, 2720 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.
