MARY BEEBE

Mary Beebe a longtime resident of Elgin Mary Beebe passed away, Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Sherman Hospital. She will be remembered for her love of life, family, dear friends and her faith. She attended First Assembly of God Church, now Highland Fellowship Church, for over 35 years and was a committed member and follower of Jesus. She loved her dogs, her preachers and pastors, her gospel music and her family ... very much. She also loved singing herself and was an alto for many years, in several different choirs and productions at the church. She was a resident, over the past few years, of Del Webb's community in Huntley, IL. "She will be missed as we remember her hugs and great conversations." Survivors include her daughter, Karen L. (Jim Schulz) Kelly of Elgin; two granddaughters, Deanne (Tim) Tighe and Stephanie Garcia; and four great-grandchildren, Garrett, Nolan, Cole and Greyson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma Williams and Louis Haller; her first husband, William R. Fehrman; second husband, Robert Knight; and third husband, Albert Beebe. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St. (Route 31), Elgin, with Rev. Jeorge Holmes and Rev. Larry Sauter officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
