Mary Lou POLITZKI

Mary Lou Politzki formerly of Buffalo Grove Mary Lou Politzki was born on Nov. 29, 1940, in Rock Island, to Thomas and Florence (nee Spiczak) Roche. She died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Elk Grove Village. Mary Lou worked as a bookkeeper for Courtesy Mold in Buffalo Grove. She was a former member of St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove. She had a passion for London, England, especially British Throne and English History and when had a chance she traveled to England. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, and was loved by all. Mary is survived by her spouse of 43 years, Siegfried "Hans;" sons, Stephen J. (Stacey) Politzki and Jeffrey M. (Karen) Politzki; grandsons, Ryan J. Politzki and Owen A. Politzki; sister, Jo Ann (Terry) Calkins and brother, John (Lourdes) Roche; and sister-in-law, Donna Roche. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Roche; and niece, Laura. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 15, from 3 until 9 p.m. at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Prayers will be Friday, Nov. 16, at at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass.
