MICHAEL PAPUGA

Michael Papuga formerly of Arlington Heights Michael Papuga, 25, of Vienna, Austria, was born Oct. 5, 1986, in Evanston, IL, and passed away suddenly Sept. 13, 2012, in Vienna, Austria. He was a 2005 graduate of Prospect High School and a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University. Mike was fiercely independent yet a committed family man, deeply in love with his wife Martina, eternally devoted to his sister, Valerie and respectfully supportive of his parents, Jeri and Mark. He was a dedicated colleague to his many friends at United European Gastroenterology, a job he loved and was passionate about helping in their growth and success. Michael enjoyed world traveling with his wife, snow boarding in the Alps, and any good political discussion. Mike touched many lives in his 25 years with us leaving an indelible message to enjoy life and seize every opportunity, living out his dreams with no regrets. We have lost a truly extraordinary young man way too soon, but his spirit lives for all. Carpe Diem is a phrase he lived by and a reminder for all who he has impacted.
