PATTI B. RIXLEBEN

Patti B. Rixleben Mrs. Patti B. Rixleben passed away at age 86 on Jan. 21st, 2013 at her son's home in St. Charles, IL (Chicago) in his arms. Her memorial service was at St. Charles Episcopal Church by Rev. William Nesbit. Her grave site rites at Memorial Park Cemetery were performed by Father Mark of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Edmond, OK. Mrs. Rixleben was born Miss Patti Bess Dickerson on Jan. 3rd, 1927 in McKinney, TX. She was the daughter of Esther Ione Dickerson and Leonard Hall Dickerson of Piedmont, OK, who was an Oklahoma City councilman in the 1950s and early 60s. She graduated from Boyd High School in McKinney, TX and attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. before being married. Patti married Thomas Bruno Rixleben, a WWII veteran from Holdenville, OK. on May 25, 1947 at St. Pauls Cathedral in OKC. Patti Bess Rixleben lived 40 years in Okla. City (OKC) and 6 years in Ada, OK. until her husband's death on Nov. 8th, 1986, with the last five years of her life in St. Charles, IL. She lovingly raised three children with her husband Thomas. She devoutly attended Episcopal church with her young family as well as regularly attended church in St. Charles in her final years, having Sunday communion the day before she passed. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Hall Rixleben, daughter-in-law Laura Jean Graf, grandson "Trey" Rixleben, 3 granddaughters Briana Roper, Lacey Boggs, and Jennifer Tiefenbrun, niece Elizabeth Ann Robbins of Eufaula, OK., three nephews David W. Fisher, Chris W. Fisher, and Dr. Gary W. Fisher of Tulsa, OK., sister-in-law Elizabeth R. Fisher, four 1st cousins Ruth Scott of OKC, Judge Ken Dickerson, Jerry Dickerson both of Piedmont, OK., and Paul Benton of OKC, and 2nd cousins Marion A. Thomas, Jr. of Eastland, TX. and Kathy Reinke of OKC. Patti's granddaughter Ashley Rixleben of OKC and nephew Roy Rixleben Fisher of Eufaula, OK predeceased her.
