RICHARD "RICH" EVASCHUK

Richard "Rich" Evaschuk a longtime resident of Wheaton Richard "Rich" Evaschuk, 77, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Richard was born on January 9, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY and is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Jane (nee Demascal) Evaschuk and his loving daughters, Cathy (Richard) Pearlman of Chicago, Valerie Ripple of Skokie and five grandchildren. He was preceded in his death by his parents, Ernest and Dorothy Evaschuk and his brothers, Ernie and Bobby Evaschuk. Rich was a retired Sheet metal worker, a school bus driver and U.S. Army veteran. Rich was a long-time member of St. James the Apostle Church in Glen Ellyn, IL. A local visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Additional Visitation will also be held in Assumption, IL on Friday, February 15th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Seitz Funeral Home with a prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. Rich will be buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Assumption following a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption on Saturday, February 16th.
