Robert B. Hamill One of the good guys of the world died on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Robert B. Hamill, age 83, was born in Chicago. He was the son of Henry and Adele Hamill. He was an Army
veteran and served in the occupation forces on Okinawa following World War II
. He was an electrical engineer for most of his working life. He was a terrific, fun-loving father who managed a Little League team, led a Boy Scout troop, did handstands, flew kites and helped his children see Orion and Sputnik. For many years, he played in a dart league under the name of "Gramps." He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Charmaine, his children Kathleen (Robin), Margaret and Scott, his grandchildren Fletcher (Anita), Anah and Caitilin (Tim), his great-granddaughter Addisyn, his brother Henry, and a circle of extended family and dear friends, including John, Roger and Teece.
