Ronald James "Bunky" Trauth of St. Charles Ronald James "Bunky" Trauth, 76, passed away early Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. Ronald was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 13, 1936. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Carole (nee Brassington) Trauth; two sons, Stephen (Nicole) Trauth of Warrnambool, Australia, and Daniel (Kendra) Trauth of Crystal Lake; three granddaughters, Dylan, Ashtynn and Peyton; and many close friends. A retired high school teacher from the Glenbard district, Ron was an active hobbyist and gardener. He was deeply passionate about growing and propagating hostas, stamp collecting, and breeding fish. He also had a great interest in history and geography. Ron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Yurs Funeral Home in St. Charles (corner of Routes 64 and 25). Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, immediately following the conclusion of the visitation. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Janesville, Wis.
