Stephen H. Adams

Stephen H. Adams formerly of Niles A funeral Mass for Stephen H. Adams (Adamkiewicz) of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Niles, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Juliana Church in Chicago. Born Feb. 15, 1916, in Chicago, he died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in Phoenix, on the date he and his late wife would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. A poet, golfer and showman at heart, he proudly served his country in Italy and North Africa as a sergeant with the 5th Army Airborne. He was Filharmonia Chorus' #1 supporter. He was the husband of the late Apolonia M. Adams (nee Juszkiewicz); father of Steve T. Adams, Philip (Gloria) Adams and Arlene (Edward) Juracek; brother of the late Chester Adams and Jean Blasz; grandfather of Grant, Andrea and Robert Juracek; and uncle of eight nieces and nephews.
