VICTORIA M. BOYLE

Victoria M. Boyle of Winfield Victoria M. Boyle, 67, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012. She was born on May 19, 1945, in Chicago, IL, to Stephen and Mary Szulc. Victoria was united in marriage on Aug. 27, 1966, to Daniel Boyle, whom she met at a dance at the age of 16. She formerly was an executive secretary for West Suburban Hospital and AT&T in Lisle, and volunteered for many years at Central DuPage Hospital and ESSE Adult Care Center in Wheaton. Victoria had a special love for her grandchildren, and she enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, listening to music, and the love and companionship of her family's dogs. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Victoria is survived by her husband of 45 years, Daniel P. Boyle, DVM; two daughters, Shannon (Robert) Duppler of St. Charles and Brenda (David) Baker of Oswego; one son, Daniel Jr. (Julie) Boyle of Downers Grove; 10 grandchildren, Christine, Robyn, Kelly and Ryan Duppler, Hannah, Bella and Griffin Baker, and Daniel III, Kaitlin and Raechel Boyle; one great-grandson, Noah Duppler (affectionately known as "Max"); nieces and nephews, and her companion dogs, Penny, Cedar and Sweet. She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant brother, Stephen Jr. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 23, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. Prayers will be said Friday, Aug. 24, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
