Dr. Warren John Klopsch of Mount Prospect Dr. Warren John Klopsch died at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 18, 2010, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village. Warren was born on October 11, 1921, in Chicago, the son of John Albert Klopsch and Elizabeth (Bessie) Klopsch (nee Miller). He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his paternal grandparents, August Klopsch and Helena Klopsch (nee Jeske); his maternal grandparents, Herman Miller of Berlin, Germany and Elisa Miller (nee Olf) of Hanover, Germany. His brother Dr. Raymond Klopsch, Ph.D, also preceded him in death. Dr. Klopsch is survived by his children, John W. Klopsch, Ph.D., Barbara Ann Klopsch Nastos, Robert A. Klopsch, Steven Klopsch, Elisabeth M. Klopsch Clark and Warren Klopsch. While a Lieutenant in the Navy, Dr. Klopsch served his country at the Moore V.A. Hospital, Swannanoa, N.C. as well as the V.A. Hospital at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Downy, Ill. In 1948, Dr. Klopsch established his private medical practice in Des Plaines. He later moved his office to Arlington Heights. He was a practicing physician for over 50 years. Cremation services were provided by Lakewood Crematory, Green Oaks, Ill. for Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows.
