Hooks was a beloved customer and friend of the Riverview Restaurant and Tavern. I remember meeting him 16 years ago at the old Riverview, he was quite a character in those days! I last saw him with his son in Riverview about a month ago. He truly loved his children and spoke of them often. I am grateful to have known him and loved hearing his stories.

Hooks lived across the street for almost 30 years. We watched his twin boys grow and he always liked to present a tough exterior, but in truth, he had a very soft heart, especially for babies. He will be missed.
