I have fond memories of Don coming into my office to tell me his latest golf jokes and adventures -- "Did I say he wanted to get married?" I miss his kindness and wit, as well as our golf games together.

Jill,
When I heard about this my first memory that came to mind of Don was in Tokyo. After leaving your apartment with my mom and Rachel and Harold - my mom walked straight into the all glass door, her whole face - smack!
Don was walking us out with Ruth and Ellen in tow and calmly picked my mom up off the floor gave her a bag of frozen something from your freezer and told her she was fine.
He was always so kind and calm!
It's been a long time but you are in my thoughts and heart
And now I will attempt to find your address and phone number

I only wish we could lessen your grief. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you and your children and the Mulvihill family. I'm sorry we could not attend today's services.
With love and our deepest sympathy,

Dear Jill and family,
I was on my way to the funeral to pay my respects and be able to tell you in person how much admiration and respect I had for Don, but unfortunately an accident at LaGuardia shut down the airport before we were able to leave. I am so heartbroken for all of you. Don was such a wonderful colleague and friend, who clearly loved his family more than anything. May he rest in peace.

Jill,

I can't tell you how sad I am about Don. He was one of the finest men I've ever met -- honest, kind, thoughtful, and dedicated to his family, his employees and his clients. This is a terrible loss for all of us.

I hoped to be at the funeral to honor him, but an accident at LGA led to my plane being canceled. I wish I could be there with you and the kids. If there is anything I can do to help out during this trying period, please don't hesitate to call. Much love.

There was a guy I was proud to know. Not only was Don a successful business man but he was a successful person. He exemplified all that can be good about a man and I am so blessed to have known him. Don was caring and intelligent; a mentor to many at Goldman Sachs where he stood out for being a kind, a thoughtful and a generous leader. Don reached out to others and took a genuine interest in them. People were drawn to him. He will be missed. My condolences to his family; especially his wife and children.
