Shirley Scalzo Obituary

Shirley Williams Dahl Scalzo Shirley Williams Dahl Scalzo, 88, of Kenosha, Wis., passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Hospitality Manor & Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 13, 1920, in Hayward, Wis., the daughter of the late Adolph and Orphy (nee Monte) Williams. On Dec. 27, 1941, she married Howard Dahl. He preceded her in death in 1986. She then married Ronald Scalzo in 1988, who has also preceded her in death. Shirley had worked as a bank teller in Hayward, Wis. and Deerfield, Ill. She enjoyed living in Lady Luck, Fla. for many years during her retirement. Survivors include her children, Richard Dahl of Durango, Colo., James Dahl of Utah and Doreen (Grant) Durante of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Durante of Charlotte, N.C. Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dahl; two brothers, Donald and Benjamin Williams; and two sisters, Helen and Marian Williams.
