RICHARD DOMBROWSKI Obituary

Richard Dombrowski Richard Dombrowski passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2012. A native Chicagoan and longtime Roselle resident, Rich enjoyed a lifetime of love with his wife of 44 years, Mary (McGough). Together they raised three extraordinary children, sons, Todd (Melissa), Brian and late daughter, Amanda, and celebrated the birth of four grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Brendan and Colin. Rich is also survived by brother, Frank and a large extended family of which he was a beloved and cherished member. He was preceded in death by his darling daughter, Amanda; parents, Frank and Wanda; and brother, Ron. Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, at the funeral chapel, going to St. Walter's Church, 140 W. Pine Ave., Roselle, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Amanda Jane Foundation at www.amandajanefoundation.org. I just received the "Inside Exelon" and was so sorry to see Rich had passed. I walked to the Union Train Station often with Rich when he worked downtown and he was alway talking about his family and the soccor games and events going on with hiss growing family. He was always so happy and full of life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. So sorry to hear of his untimely death so late.

Dear Mary & Family,

I am very sorry this condolence is so late. My heart sank as I read Rich's name in the In Memoriam section of the company newsletter. I worked with Rich many years ago in the late 80's in the Sales/Marketing Dept in Mt. Prospect. He was always very friendly and personable to everyone in the office which made him very popular. He always spoke highly of his children, but had a special fondness for Amanda. I was also saddened to hear about her passing as well.
