Adam Blake Kapfhamer of St. Charles Adam Blake Kapfhamer, age 48, died, Tuesday, May 14, 2013. He was born September 12, 1964. Adam's years of service as an enlisted Security Police Officer in the United States Air Force, as well as an Elk Grove Village Police Officer attest to his bravery, commitment and dedication. He was an avid Chicago sports fan, however, any team that his children played for were his favorite. His boys were his life's biggest accomplishment and his pride and joy. Gone too soon, Adam will be missed dearly and always remembered for his big heart, charm, smile, blue eyes and his never ending ability to make others laugh. Adam is survived by his children, Zachary and Logan Kapfhamer; their mother, Gina Kapfhamer. His mother,Gloria. His sister, Randi Fleming. Two brothers, David (Cathy), and Scott (Mary). Also many nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray. Visitation will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday May 19, 2013 at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street (Route 64), St. Charles. Services to follow and 4 p.m. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, in Elwood, IL.
