Antoinette Rosemaire Abbate of North Barrington Mass of Christian Burial for Antoinette Rosemaire Abbate (nee Palmisano), 82, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Anne Church, corner of Ela and Franklin Streets in Barrington, where she will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Fr. Jack Dewes will officiate. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Chicago, she passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Antoinette was a member of St. Anne Church. She enjoyed bowling. Survivors include her children, Joseph Jr. (Ruth) Abbate of South Barrington and Denis (Suzanne) Abbate of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Annette (James) Baird, Joseph III, Emily and Daniel Abbate; sisters, Pearl Glaude of Aurora and Ann Lauten of Geneva; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Stoll. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Sr., who passed away Aug. 11, 2004; parents, Samuel and Mary Palmisano; granddaughter, Ruth Ann; sisters, Christine (Charles) Satarino and Mary (Ignatius) Lanas; brother, August Palmisano; and brother-in-law, Alfred Glaude. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anne Church, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Arrangements were made by Davenport Family Funeral Home, Barrington.
