Barbara Javens of Algonquin Barbara Javens, 70, passed away on April 10, 2012, in Barrington. She was born on Nov. 1, 1941, to Steven and Mildred Peters, in Chicago. Barbara was a beloved mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a founding member of The Investment Partners. She will be missed by all. Barbara is survived by her children, David Javens, Christopher (Karen) Javens and Victoria (Kevin) Molbeck; grandchildren, Trevor Javens, Kristen Javens, Camryn Molbeck, Michelle (Jarrod) Kuhlemeier, Lisa (Ryan) Fergus, Brian (Michelle) McSweeney and Daniel McSweeney; and great-grandchildren, Adelynn, Graham, Lucille Kuhlemeier, Ryder Fergus and Penny Fergus, Nolan McSweeney and Aiden McSweeney. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Splitt; and her parents. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. April 13, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, IL 60010, with a funeral service held at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
