BARBARA JEAN ANDERSON Obituary
Barbara Jean Anderson of Lisle Barbara Jean Anderson, 55, passed away suddenly on Nov. 20, 2012. She was born July 16, 1957, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Geraldine Dellamorte. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Edward Gallagher; her devoted children, Jillian (James Nichols) Anderson, Corinne (Brandon) David and Brad Anderson and their father, William Anderson; her special grandchildren, James Lawrence Nichols VI, Charles Joseph and Teagan Marie David, and Nathaniel Michael, Makayla Jean Rebecca and Sophia Amelia Marie Anderson; her parents; her dear brothers and sisters, Theresa (Jeff) Crosby, Joseph (Sharon) Dellamorte, Diane (James) Sutton, Susan (Mike) Smith, Michael (Trish) Dellamorte, Lawrence (Laura) Dellamorte, Vincent Dellamorte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Dellamorte in infancy. Barb truly loved life. She easily made friends and remained dedicated to them. Barb had a strong work ethic and excelled in her professional life. She was a loving mother and lived each day for her family. She opened her home, affectionately referred to as Hotel de Barb, to her family and friends and always filled it with laughter and love. She will be deeply missed and her memory will live on forever in all who had the pleasure to know her. For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Barbara's life, memorials to the , 8430 Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631, would be greatly appreciated. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 26, from 3 until 9 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 11:15 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Lisle. Interment will be private.
