Connie M. Pruchniak of Wauconda for 35 years Connie M. Pruchniak (nee Petrie), 66, was the beloved wife of Richard; loving mother of Wayne (Beth) and Wendy (Kevin) Fryer; cherished grandmother of Jake, Drew and Matt; devoted daughter of the late Evelyne (nee Sikora) and John Petrie; dear sister of Patricia (Dan) Ziemba, Georgia (Paul) Havlovic and John (Marlene), Mike (Jane) and Bill (MaryJo) Petrie; fond sister-in-law of Dorothy (the late Daniel) Koeller, Gerald (Pauline) Pruchniak and the late Lewis (Ann) Pruchniak; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Connie was born Dec. 5, 1945, in Chicago, and passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at home. Connie was formerly the office manager at Boehmer Automotive and was a member of Transfiguration Parish in Wauconda. Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. On Friday, May 4, prayers will start at the funeral home at 11 a.m., proceeding to Transfiguration Parish, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment is private.
