George Del Kotowski of Mount Prospect for 57 years George Del Kotowski, 86, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at Church Creek in Arlington Heights. George served three years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the IBEW #134 for 55 years. He was a member and an usher for 50 years at St. Raymond's Catholic Church and a former member of the Mount Prospect Senior Golf Club. George enjoyed most sports, gardening, woodworking and playing golf. George is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice (nee Lang) of 63 years. He was the loving father of Sharon (Gene) Mrowczynski, Del (Debbie), Darlene (Paul) Snyder, Gail (Tom) Dolan and Dave (Cindy); dear grandfather of Karl, Megan, Laura, Kristin, Jeanne and Tyler; brother of Lucille Reindl; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bob Mrowczynski; brother, Robert; and his sister, Gloria Eggert. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, with a 10 a.m. viewing before Mass at St. Raymond's Catholic Church, Elmhurst and Lincoln Street, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. 847-253-2444.
