Harriette E. Jauch of Libertyville Harriette E. Jauch, 94, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Wealshire in Lincolnshire. She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Chicago, and had been a Libertyville resident since 1956. She attended Lake Forest College and was a 1940 graduate of Northwestern University. Harriette was a longtime athletic director who also worked in the administrative offices at Lake Forest College. She was a member of their Alumni Board, member of Gamma Phi sorority and was honored to be in the Lake Forest College Athletic Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing Bridge, football pools, golfing and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are three sons, Rick (Marilyn, nee Noel) Jauch, Tom (Jeanette, nee Molidor) Jauch and Randy (Holly, nee Krueger) Jauch; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Krista, Erik, Fred, Tom Jr., Katie and Lindsay; and former daughter-in-law, Susan Sautier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Jauch in 1986; her grandson, Karl; sisters, Virginia Cass and Ruth Krusen; and brother, Ralph Morgan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville.
