Hugh W. Armstrong II of Naperville for seven years Funeral services for Hugh W. Armstrong II, 77, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive (Route 59), Naperville. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 801 S. Eola Road, Aurora, Ill. Born April 28, 1926, in River Forest, Ill., he died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Hugh was an Air Force veteran of World War II, and he was the retired president of Armstrong Brothers Tool Company in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Rita M. Armstrong (nee Jones); his children, Hugh W. III (Patricia) of St. Charles, Kevin V. (Sue) of Schaumburg, Robert J. Armstrong of Naperville, Deborah A. (Michael J.) Golubski of Schaumburg and Mary T. (Anthony R.) Viviano of Aurora; his grandchildren, Denise and Hugh W. Armstrong IV, both of St. Charles, and twins Meghan and Shaun Armstrong of Schaumburg; his brother, Deshler Armstrong of Colorado; and by his sister, Rita Nash of Wilmette. Hugh was preceded in death by his son, James M. Armstrong; his parents, Hugh W. and Edna L. Armstrong; and by his brother, Thomas. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
