JEFFREY W. BAURER Obituary
Jeffrey W. Baurer of Geneva Jeffrey W. Baurer, 44, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. He was born in Peoria, IL, Oct. 21, 1968, the son of Ronald L. and Barbara (nee Carlin) Baurer. Jeffrey served for many years in a variety of roles at Accenture LLC most recently as a sales director at Accenture Technology Growth Platform. He was a 1986 graduate of Richwoods High School in Peoria and a 1991 graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He married Margaret Jean Johnson on Nov. 4, 1995, in Peoria, IL. He loved to play hockey, travel, play golf, and was an avid Chicago sports fan. He spent much of his time devoted to his daughters, where he coached many soccer and softball teams as well as attended many dance and theatre productions. He also enjoyed spending time at the family's summer cabin at Long Lake, Wisconsin. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Geneva, where he chaired the finance committee and taught Sunday school. Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, and friend to many and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret of 17 years; daughters, Sarah Jo, Olivia Claire and Brooke Elizabeth; parents, Ronald L. Baurer and Barbara (Carlin) Baurer of Peoria; sister, Kimberly A. (Ross) Molloy of Darien, CT; paternal grandmother, Verna E. Baurer of Peoria; great-aunt, Cora Leman of Peoria; in-laws, E. Richard Johnson and Louise L. Johnson, both of Peoria; 10 nieces and nephews; five brothers-in-law; and three sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Virginia Carlin; and his paternal grandfather, Benjamin R. Baurer. Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton St. A memorial service will immediately follow with Rev. William D.
