JEROME BLAESING

Jerome Blaesing Jerome Blaesing 76, died Aug. 31, 2011, in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife of many years, Lorraine Blaesing. A longtime resident of Palatine, Jerome worked 20 years for Palatine Township, which he enjoyed and also served in the Air Force, leaving with an honorable discharge. Through the years, he loved to fish, watch the sunrise, enjoyed crisp fall days with all the leaves changing colors. He was a loving, compassionate father and is survived by his four children, Teri (Joseph) Winsor, Michael (Brandi) Blaesing, Marc, (Connie) Blaesing and Cheri (Kerry) Murray. He also was survived by his grandchildren, Michael II, Jennifer, Stephanie, Christopher, Marc II, Jamie, Brandon, Eric, Ashley, Brent, Gerek and Clara; and his great-grandchildren, Zachary and Caleb. Jerome lived each day to the fullest, had a great sense of humor always finding the positive side. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service not yet set.
