June E. Hoss of Des Plaines The funeral service for June E. Hoss (nee Weiss), 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Golf Road Baptist Church, 501 W. Golf Road, Des Plaines, where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, Jonesboro, Ill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Oehler Funeral Home, Des Plaines Chapel, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Born April 3, 1926, in Herrin, Ill., she died Monday, May 7, 2012, at Manorcare of Rolling Meadows. June was a longtime sales woman for Avon Cosmetics. June was the wife of the late Merle Hoss; mother of Michael (Carole) Hoss and the late Pamela Hoss-Carlson; grandmother of Daniel, Gregory and Anthony Carlson, Kirsten Orth, and Jeremy and Jennifer Gillum; great-grandmother of Bayleigh, Bricen and Kylan; and sister of Ralph Norman, Leonard Howard Weiss and the late Mildred Hansen.
