June N. Griffin, 86, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at the Advocate Condell Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1929 in Colorado Springs, CO and has been a resident of Lincolnshire for over 50 years. She was a member of the Village Church of Lincolnshire, the Townley Club in Deerfield and also enjoyed her former bowling leagues. Surviving are 3 children, Kathy (Mark) Dennis, Patty Griffin and Daniel (Delcie) Griffin; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Natalie, Melissa, Emma, Aidan, Cormack and Larkin; 3 great-grandchildren, Ann, Connor and Logan; 2 sisters, Anna Lee Chase and Ruth Herder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Griffin. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at the Village Church of Lincolnshire, 201 N. Riverwoods Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045. Interment will be at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. God Bless you Mrs. Griffin. You always made feel welcome at your home in the 80's. You are now in heaven with your husband who was my dearest friend and the most influential father figure I ever had.
