Karen Lynne Keres Karen Lynne Keres, beloved wife of Walter Wilson Berg, died of natural causes on Thursday, April 5, 2012. She is also survived by many relatives and friends. Her smiling face and influence will not be forgotten. Karen graduated from Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. and received a master's degree from the University of Iowa. She taught English, humanities and Shakespeare for 40 years at William Rainey Harper College. A celebration honoring Karen will be held at Harper College, Thursday, May 10, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Wojcik Dining Room, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
